The Dollar A Day program is a new program designed for parents to donate to the Carpinteria and Summerland public school Site Grant Funds. The funds are distributed, along with the Carp-a-Cabana proceeds in the fall to support various programs and educational materials. Carpinteria Unified School District strives to provide an excellent education to all community students. Public funding continues to be reduced, and funds to provide the level of support that excellent schools require is left to supplemental fundraising.
Now, more than ever, it is essential for parents and the community to come together in support of our schools. The Dollar A Day program is designed to give community families the opportunity to help. If each family in our 7 schools committed to the Dollar A Day program, it would put over a half of a million dollars into Carpinteria and Summerland public classrooms!
You can help! Don’t delay, donate and then tell you friends. Ask them to help to support our schools too!
